We are the nation's largest regional group of Porsche Type 928 owners, located in southern California. We are enthusiasts who consider this vehicle to be one of the world’s greatest GT road cars to have ever been produced.
 
Our presence and intention, is to share our experiences, combined knowledge and innovation through this message board with other owners locally as well as world wide. Our regional activities beyond this board include socializing, driving events, touring and technical sessions. Founded in August, 2001, we have conducted a great variety of events and remain active year-round taking advantage of southern California's glorious driving weather. Each year in the month of October, we present an event, known as SHARKTOBERFEST that is solely dedicated to the Porsche 928. It has grown to become the largest event of its kind held in the United States.
 
Our presence has also attracted other 928 enthusiasts from around the globe, which has enabled us to learn how the 928 lives outside of the USA. We are open to all owners of this car and encourage all owners to share in our enthusiasm. Whether you just want more information about your car or you are a full blown fanatic, we urge you to come join us.

The group's organization is informal and membership is completely free. We have no dues, bylaws, officers, nor any of the other trappings of conventional club structure. All SOCAL928 activities are imagined, organized and executed by individual members for the membership at large. This website keeps us connected while we do it all.
