My fellow 928ers,
I haven't been to this site in a while and it appears that I am not the only one

. That's ok, we have all been so busy; however, now that the holiday season is over, returning to the old routine

. As most of you SoCalers know, VCR is out of business

, and we have all been looking for a place to hang on Sunday morning

Last Sunday, myself and Dr. Bob attended the inaugural gathering in Woodland Hills of the new
Supercar Sunday. It is located in the mall parking lot at Topanga Cyn and Erwin, just about a 1/2 mile north of the 101 freeway. The turn out last Sunday was very good, and I guess when Bob and I left at around 9:30am, there were probably a little over 200 cars. The usual suspects, Lambos, F-Cars, Vipers, Cobras, GT2 & Gt3s, and various other Porsches

and other exotic cars. We spoke with Dusty formally of VCR, and he has an agreement with the local businesses for at least the next year. There is a "
Corner Bakery" for your culinary needs, and their coffee is very good. They also have tables and breakfast is served. Bob and I were the only 928s, but hopefully more of you will join us. The event is from 7am to 10am. The last Sunday of the month is the primary gathering day

Hope to see you all there.
